Primary Use:  "FORM with FUNCTION".  EnergyEdge high performance slab edge systems protect, finish, & insulate the exterior face of the slab.  This product supports the intent of current energy codes and promote sustainable building design.

Composition:  An EnergyEdge rail (EE8fb or EE8mb) containing insulation & the universal EnergyEdge brace.  Optional features of the EnergyEdge system include a 90^o corner connector & a 45^o connector.

 General uses: EnergyEdge systems are compatible with multiple building systems & slab placement techniques.  They replace 2x8 forms and can be internally supported by the EnergyEdge braces or externally supported by other systems.

EnergyEdge 8" Frame Building Rail (EE8fb) :

Primary use: Form, insulate & finish perimeter slab edge for general construction

Special features:   Profile provides full rigid insulation coverage from the top to bottom of an 8" slab edge. This profile is useful for typical 2X6 wood & metal framing plate, ICF & CMU Block Systems, etc.

Primary Use:  Form, insulate, & finish perimeter slab edge for metal building systems & structural wall systems requiring full bearing at top of slab.  Also provides flashing offset.

Standard Size: 8" tall, 2 ³/₄" bottom flange, 1¹/₄" exposed top flange, providing at 1¹/₂"X 1¹/₂" reveal at slab edge, 12' long

Special features: EE brace easily snaps into EE rail clipping channel at job site.  As an internal bracing system, the EE brace provides complete support to the EE rail and steel reinforcing systems.  When used with external supports, braces function as anchors into the concrete.
