General guidelines for installing EnergyEdge® in a crawl space or basement wall
Energy
Edge rails can be placed and secured inside crawl space or basement
wall forms. Rails
should be installed corners first and
straight runs last- minimizing cutting to the middle rail completing
the run. Align and level the rails then mechanically secure the
braces to the
wall form. Pour & finish wall as usual. Energy Edge products remain
in place, leaving a finished and insulated edge.
