EnergyEdge® products insulate the outside edge of the building slab. All parts of the building are routinely insulated-- except for the slab edge. Slab construction crews simply use Energy Edge "rails" in place of, or inside their usual wooden form boards. Unlike traditional forming boards, the rails remain in place to protect and insulate the slab edge. These assemblies are compatible with most construction techniques, compliment numerous building systems, and are required by most energy codes.

EnergyEdge products meet energy standards like ASHRAE 90.1 & the IRC. They provide a barrier between the outdoor climate and the controlled interior space.
Using Energy Edge products will help your building meet basic energy standards. It can also help earn EnergyStar rating, LEED point, and Green Build requirements.
Products can be installed using numerous techniques and foundation types including:
monolithic, trench, stemwalls,
crawl spaces, & basements.
